Playinnovation at The NWHPAF Annual Conference 2011

Playinnovation have been invited to hold a special workshop in conjunction with Child UK, as part of The North West Health and Physical Activity Forum Annual Conference on 10th February 2011,

Street Snooker & Pool - bringing the nation's favourite cue games to the streets and school playgrounds Marco Boi, Director, Playinnovation, John Manitara, Chief Operating Officer and Andrew Anastasiou, Chief Executive, CHILD UK Created to fill the gap in outdoor provision for teenagers, Playinnovation Ltd is presenting an interactive workshop in conjunction with Community Interest Company, CHILD UK. Workshop participants will have the chance to see how two traditional cue games normally played indoors have been transformed for informal outdoor play that offer an unprecedented list of physical, emotional and educational benefits for children, young people and adults. The workshop will include an overview of the patented Street Snooker Concept and rules, games for graduated challenge, inclusive play and numeracy development. There will be an open discussion on how Street Snooker can help build self-confidence and raise self-esteem in young people. This interactive workshop will provide a 'real life' experience of Street Snooker using the prototype especially designed for this conference.
