Playinnovation have completed the design and build of a £176K state of the art MUGA for Southwater Parish Council in Horsham, working alongside Philip Starling of MSA Surveyors. Working with the client, Playinnovation’s project team took a holistic approach to the innovative scheme which upon completion was immediately booked up for the next three months and beyond for 5 a side football. Playinnovation are famous for their innovative brand of MUGA and Family Inclusive Sports Areas which is why the council selected the company after going out to tender for the long awaited scheme. The new MUGA includes a synthetic sand dressed carpet, floodlighting, inclusive pathways and landscaping along with a low noise crank top sports fencing system. The project was part funded by Sport England and was designed in accordance with their guidelines.
Our client said:
‘A fabulous job by Playinnovation! - the installation went smoothly every step of the way and our new MUGA is already booked out until Christmas. The opening with Rt Hon Francis Maude MP was a great success, and was attended by local schools who carried out an inaugural football competition. It was great to see the children enjoying the new facility after so many years of planning and hard work.’
